Local artist Chris Anderson shows one of his latest murals in downtown Muscatine he intends to welcome people to town. The mural is visible to people at the intersection of Second and Cedar streets. Before next year, the 250th birthday of the United States, he plans to include an American flag on the side of the building. Anderson said he is grateful to Downtown Investors for giving him the opportunity to paint the mural and to all the people who have supported the creation of the mural.
